Often Asked Question & Answers
Question 1. Do I need to move things out of the way before you arrive?
Answer 1. Our prices are based on us moving a few items in the areas being cleaned. We don't mind moving a few items. If we run into a situation where we are expected to move a large amount of stuff, we will need to adjust our pricing accordingly. We prefer that the owner move any items of value. Anytime things are moved, there is the possibility of damage. If you have a large amount of stuff that will need moved and you would like us to move it, please let know so we can put this in the original quote. We are not equipped to move heavy items. If you have heavy items you would like cleaned under, please make arrangements to have the items moved.

Question 11. How often should I pressure wash my driveway?
Answer 11. This depends on many factors. The heat and humidity in Houston TX and surrounding areas are a great environment for mold, mildew and algae to grow. This is often what gives the driveway, walks, porch and patio the dark and dirty look. If any of these areas are being shaded by your house or trees, the shaded areas will usually have more of a problem with mold, mildew and algae. Other factors like dust, dirt, leaves, tree pollen, grass, and other things are also building up every day. In general, after 1 or 2 years many homes will see a noticeable improvement by using our pressure washing Houston service.

Answer 13. You will get a different answer to this question depending on who you ask. I have always considered them to mean the same thing. Different parts of the country will use one term or the other. There are some that say power wash or power washing uses heated water to help with the cleaning. I really don’t think there is any distinction between the words.

Pressure washing is typically the most effective way of cleaning the exterior surfaces around your home or business like the driveway, walks, porch, patio, pool deck, and more. This being said, make sure the company you use has right experience for your job. This is a service that the lowest price bidder, usually a new inexperienced pressure washer, can lead to costly damage. A window cleaner can leave a streak on the window and it's no big deal, they just clean the window again. An inexperienced pressure washer can permanently damage your concrete by leaving etch marks on the surface or removing the smooth cream off of the top of your concrete. This is typically caused by using the wrong tip or applying to much pressure for the surface being cleaned. Our industry is saturated by people who run down to Lowes and spend $200 to $400 on a consumer grade pressure washer and start a cleaning business. For many of these people, this is the first pressure washer they have owned and operated. When they are just starting out they will attract customers by offering very low prices. It is during this learning phase when most property damage is done. Many of these companies are out of business in just a few months. It takes a couple of years to gain the experience required to tell what will and will not damage the different surfaces around you property. Your house or building is very expensive. Make sure you hire the best pressure washing service company that has the experience for your project. We strive to be the best pressure washing company in Houston TX.
